A bit more about me:

  • I graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
  • I have over 15 years of experience in digital women’s lifestyle publications.
  • I have worked at Latina magazine, SheKnows, Family Circle, MamásLatinas from Cafe Mom, Brit+Co, and Blavity’s 21Ninety.
  • I am currently the Content Marketing Manager at Tempest (a membership program that empowers you to live alcohol-free) and former Managing Editor at The Temper (which explores life through the lens of sobriety, addiction, and recovery).

Irina Gonzalez is a journalist, editor, and sober bisexual Latina mom with ADHD. She is the author of the Parenting in Hard Mode newsletter—for those of us who are raising social justice-minded families and getting real about mental health for parents navigating life on the difficult setting. She is also working on an upcoming book on impactful Latinx Americans with The Quarto Publishing Group.
